On the Boxing Day, we went to Hoher Kasten where we had a delicious "Appenzeller Breakky". The weather was perfect even if it was freezing...min. 10 degrees negative! The view...just amazing!
This week I've got self-study...which means a lot of free time ;-) Yesterday, mum and I went to Bern to visit my friend Valeria. She's studing medicine at the university and had a free afternoon to spend with us in the city.
Today, I caught up with my friend Marianne and her cute son Flavio (and Ueli, Flavio's little monkey :-) ). We went to the three ponds in St.Gallen to enjoy the beautiful autumn weather.
This weekend, I did a two day hike with my dad. The weather was awesome...clear, blue sky and we had a view over so many mountain tops! First, we hiked from Schwägalp (1352 m) to Mount Säntis (2502 m). There we passed the Lisengrat (2310 m) to the Rotsteinpass (2142 m) and went down to Meglisalp (1517 m). Like it's usual in the Alpstein, we climbed another mountain after our descend. It's always up and down :-) This time it was the Ageteplatte (1939 m). It was our last summit for Saturday. From there, we hiked down to Mesmer (1613 m) to a lovely little lodge where we spent the night. After sunset it was a bit stormy and the day after was still very, very windy :-)...but fortunately sunny...and that's the main point! :-)
The next morning, we stood up at 6:30 to see the sunrise...amazing! After our breakfast we went up to Mount Öhrli where we saw over twenty chamois. Unfortunately, they were far away and it was hard to get a good picture of them. The last summit we had to climb was Mount Schäfler (1924 m).
It was a great trip...two days full of adventure, fun and the beauty of nature.
This time I went to Mount Säntis with my best friend Fabienne and her boyfriend Rémy. First, the weather was perfect...not to cold and just a bit cloudy but it was getting more and more foggy and straight after our arriving at the summit it started to rain.
I'm in the second week of my education as a physiotherapist now. We're 32 studenst in our class...22 women and 10 men...that's a lot. Normally, the maximum is three or maybe five...So we're very lucky because as a physiotherapist you have to know the male body as well as the female one ;-)
Today, I visited a friend in Malans..that's a very nice village close to our school. The weather was lovely and we spent our lunch break outside between the vinyards...
Yesterday, I visited my friends Muriel and Frieder in Kreuzlingen. The weather was perfect like the last few days and we enjoyed a swim in the cold water of Lake Constance.
