Open-Air Clanx (Appenzell)

Eingebettet in wunderschöner Appenzeller Landschaft findet jährlich das kleine aber feine Open-Air Clanx statt :-). Dieses Jahr mit auf dem Programm stand die Band SUPER 8, in der auch Domis Vater mitwirkt. 

This year, we visited the little open-air Clanx in Appenzell. Wonderful weather, delicious food, excellent bands (more or less, SUPER 8 was one of them :-)) and great people accompanied us on this summer Sunday.

1. August – Swiss National Day

Like every year on the Swiss National Day, our Family did a hike to the restaurant “Blattendürren” where we had a delicious “Appenzeller Brunch”. The first part of the walk was very foggy but it didn’t take long until we saw the first sunbeams.

Auch dieses Jahr absolvierten wir unsere traditionelle “Wanderung” zum Restaurant Blattendürren, um uns dort vom reichhaltigen Appenzeller Frühstücksbuffet verwöhnen zu lassen. Glücklicherweise lag unsere Verpflegungsstätte oberhalb des Nebels, sodass wir nach kurzem Aufstieg den Brunch bei Sonnenschein geniessen konnten.

Hike To Mount Säntis

Domi and I did a two day trip to the beautiful and famous city Lucerne. The first day, we visited touristy attractions like the “Kappel Bridge”, the “Lion Memorial” and the “Glacier Garden”. The second day, we enjoyed the lake with all the hungry mummy and baby ducks and swans. The Highlight was the Mount Pilatus which we achieved with the longest cog railway in the world.

Domi und ich reisten für zwei Tage nach Luzern, wo wir touristische Attraktionen wie die Kappel Brücke, das Löwendenkmal und den Gletschergarten besuchten. Am zweiten Tag besuchten wir den Pilatus, den wir mit der steilsten Zahnradbahn der Welt erreichten.
